For the record, kids almost always put a smile on my face. No matter what I’m feeling inside, they always seem to turn it into something warm and fuzzy.
For instance, I looked up from the book I was reading to another child to find this:

Now normally, this cute little girl would be trying to get me to read to her, no matter what I was doing. Today, however, she was entertaining another little boy by “reading” to him. Of course that meant that she was pointing to pictures and mumbling but they were having a ball!
A few minutes later, I looked up and saw this:

While it looks like she had this kid in a choke hold, in reality she was “holding” him and he was thoroughly content. To have them getting along was quite a blessing this morning! It only lasted a few minutes but it was a beautiful display of love!
that is so adorable kindo!!

That is awesome. And despite, the few minutes it lasted, it is rewarding for the rest of the day. Now I miss my Hephzibah kids!
always,
liz

Brittany, she’s been CRAZY since coming back. Her new favorite word is “no” and she smiles when she says it. Fun!

Aren’t kids awesome?? My favorite little girl in my class is the sweetest thing. There is a girl in a wheelchair in the 3 year old room, and my girl is ALWAYS helping her…it amazes me & almost brings me to tears everytime!
