Well, today has been a long day. Cody woke me up this morning at 8:15 this morning to go practice and play at ALIVE. (I was supposed to wake up earlier than that but I overslept…a little. I was still on time for practice!)
After the ALIVE service, Cody and I got drive-thru and then headed to Bethesda United Methodist Church to set up and practice for a youth rally. The service was good. Cody did an amazing job! He did really well considering he hasn’t sung in about a month! Matt Rhodes was the speaker and he did great too! You can check out Cody’s blog about the rally and see the set list here.
It’s now 1:00 a.m. and I’m pooped. We just got back about 45 minutes ago. Cody is especially worn out, too. His voice is pretty much gone. Pray that he wakes up in the morning with a healed throat!
